749Techs is a locally owned field-technician and low-voltage services company serving the Spokane and North Idaho region. We provide high-quality commercial and residential technology solutions, including structured cabling, fiber installations, network infrastructure, security systems, Wi-Fi optimization, and IT support.

Our company was built on a simple principle: do the job the right way, every time. It’s why our saying is “The way tech work is done.” To us, that means delivering dependable service, clean and professional installations, and a level of integrity that clients can trust.

749Techs was created to provide technicians to the community that follow a faith-based ethos. In other words, we work while serving a higher purpose. Built around the core values of integrity, service and excellence, 749 is the number of “Jesus the Messiah” in Hebrew.

Meet the Owner

  • Founder and lead technician of 749Techs, has been working in the field-services and low-voltage industry since 2011. His career began in Maine and carried him across Idaho and Washington, where he established 749Techs to meet the growing need for reliable, skilled technical work in the region.

    Alec’s extensive background includes:

    • Servicing major national retailers such as Home Depot, Macys, Target and others.

    • Providing technical support for various government contracts for the Airforce and Navy. As well as hospital organizations, like Providence and many others.

    • Completing residential fiber-optic installations for TDS Telecom

    • Designing and installing structured cabling and network infrastructure

    • Security systems, smart technologies, and integrated panel solutions

    • Wi-Fi heat mapping & optimization (Ekahau SK-2 workflow)

    • Advanced IT support, backed by ITIL and HDI desktop-support certifications.

    Known for his reliability, strong troubleshooting skills, and clean, detail-oriented work, Alec approaches every project with the mindset that technology should be installed honestly, cleanly, and built to last. He believes in transparency, clear communication, and empowering clients to understand the systems they rely on.

    749Techs reflects Alec’s personal mission: to raise the standard of technical service in the Northwest and deliver solutions that truly represent “the way tech work is done.”
